Join us in Hong Kong (SAR) for the 2024 KPMG Asia Pacific Tax Summit, where we will convene to share ideas and discuss approaches to challenges faced by finance and tax leaders of major multinational organizations as they navigate the future of tax.

We will be joined by notable speakers from business and industry along with tax policymakers, regional tax authorities and Chief Tax Officers from leading multinational organizations. Subject matter experts from across the KPMG global network of firms will provide thought leadership and commentary throughout the Summit.

Among the topics that will be covered at the Summit, speakers will explore where global and regional tax policy is heading next, how to effectively implement the BEPS 2.0 initiatives, how to make AI work for tax, and how to build a future-ready tax function.

The Summit’s design will encourage interaction, networking, and the exploration of practical approaches. In addition to the big picture themes discussed in plenary sessions, delegates may attend a series of breakout sessions where they will have an opportunity to unpack more technical matters including the future of supply chain and incentives; trends in tax controversy and disputes; the role of the tax function in relation to e-invoicing and real-time reporting; the interplay of ESG, transparency and reporting; the impacts of an evolving landscape on M&A in the region; and the impact of new ways of work on the tax function.

Special focus sessions will include the Financial Services and Asset Management Forum, Global Transfer Pricing Forum, Chinese outbound investment session (conducted in Mandarin) and the KPMG Tax Technology solutions lightning sessions.

In between sessions, delegates are invited to network with peers in the KPMG Digital Gateway Technology Lounge where they may enjoy a coffee or tea while taking in a demonstration of the latest KPMG Tax technologies on the KPMG Digital Gateway platform. The KPMG Digital Gateway is a single cloud-based platform that provides tax leaders, and their functions, with access to the latest KPMG technologies, services, industry news and insights, while also providing a platform to connect with knowledgeable professionals from across the global KPMG network.

We look forward to navigating the future of tax with you in October in Hong Kong (SAR)!
